Christina Riordan is a Master Herbalist, Clinical Nutritionist and a Master Beekeeper.  She makes her own homemade Meade.  Her Grandfather came to the Ojai Valley in 1922 and she resides here with her two daughters. She is an avid hiker and kayaker and you can find her up in the mountains collecting wild seeds (she studied with Native Seed Search in collecting and preserving seeds).  Christina has a love of gardening and deep appreciation and respect of natural healing. 

Caitriona Meek came to the states in 1980, arriving in Ojai from Dublin, Ireland with her siblings, mother and step father.  Caitriona discovered her joy for more than just bland Irish cuisine after being introduced to spices, herbs and something other than just salt!  After spending some time up in Seattle, Washington, she moved back to Ojai and been here since, raising her three boys and discovering her joy in long hikes, learning about herbs, their culinary and medicinal uses.  Caitriona has spent the past 6 years as a jeweler.

Chris and Caitriona met back in Junior High, sharing a few laughs and occasional chat, they re-connected in their late teens and have become life long friends.  Discovering their appreciation of Europe, they took a trip  before moving up to the Northwest together.  They traveled around Italy, Caitriona took art classes at Lorenzo De Medici while Chris visited with extended family.  They spent some time in Ireland, hitchiking down around the south of Ireland finding their mutual love of pubs and bad Irish humor.  After going their own ways for many years, they both found themselves back in Ojai, ready to move on to the next phase of their lives.  It was the natural choice,  Chris loves to plant, grow and cook, Caitriona loves to taste and eat, a perfect match!  

Phillip Behlman, an accomplished and amazing jeweler and photographer, makes what Caitriona and Chris talk about happen.  He comes up with great ideas and takes our vision and does something with it.  From taking beautiful, artistic and creative photographs, deciphering web sites and how to create them, endless hours finding the colors we can't quite express, Phillip listens to our babble and changes consistently.  Also a long time Ojai resident with a grown daughter, Phillip, also has a love of all things organic  and healthy.  He is a cook at heart and knows his spices, he spent a huge amount of time practicing and perfecting Southwestern style flavoring and loves to spend time discovering unique flavors and tastes.
