Native to the Maliku islands in Indonesia, cloves are a sweet, warm and aromatic spice that is used globally in diners, desserts and teas.  Cloves have a strong rich flavor, are frequently used along side nutmeg and cinnamon and often in combination with cumin.  Used in cigarettes, incense, perfume, decoration, cloves have an array of medicinal qualities in many cultures.  Clove oil has been used for dental pain, fever reduction and mosquito repellent!
