The Chipolte Chili comes from the Nahautl word meaning smoked chili pepper, it is actually a smoked dried jalapeno. It is commonly used in Mexican cuisine and comes in a variety of degrees of heat.  A great flavor and deep color,  can be used in salsas, chili, marinades,stews, many dishes that enjoy that rich smokey flavor.
